Fareast Islami Life Insurance Company Limited started its journey on May 29, 2000, and a leading third-generation company in Bangladesh of the insurance sector. By the passing of time, the company has consolidated its strength manifold by extending its business rapidly while ensuring sustainable growth. Fareast Islami Life operates the life insurance business & services at 103 Service Center office, 252 Zonal Offices, 23 divisional offices & 635 premium collection centers all over Bangladesh.

The authorized capital of the company is BDT 1000 million and paid-up capital is BDT 747.42 million. The total market value of the company's shares is BDT 4596.69 million as on 31 December 2017. Total assets of the company as at 31 December 2017 stood at BDT 42,397.01 million and life fund BDT 33,447.46 million.
